Job Description:
Client is seeking a senior-level Robotics Engineer to provide hands-on support for troubleshooting, maintaining, and continually optimizing industrial robotic systems across the facility. The primary focus is diagnosing and resolving issues with existing robotic cells at a root-cause engineering level (not simply reactive repair) across Kuka, Fanuc, and ABB robot platforms. Work independently on the production floor, performing hands-on diagnostics, adjusting, and modifying robot programs as needed to support changing production requirements. Coordinate with maintenance, engineering, and production teams to minimize downtime and ensure consistent robotic cell performance.
In addition to troubleshooting, a significant and ongoing component of this engagement is mentoring and training junior employees and internal team members to build sustainable, in-house robotics competency. This includes developing training materials, delivering hands-on instruction, and coaching junior staff on day-to-day operation and best practices for robotics programming, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
